Chateau Fontenelles is located in the center of the region of Perigord, on a magnificent plateau in the south west of Thenac. Wine has been cultivated here since 1827.
This blend consists of about 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. This combination of the roundness and finesse of the Merlot and the power and structure of the Cabernet Sauvignon gives a stunning result for a more than reasonable price.
Deep pomegranate colour. The bouquet offers intense aromas of plums, cassis and blackberries. In the mouth it is a spicy, firm wine with beautiful tannin.
This wine is delicious to drink with red meat, BBQ, lamb, game dishes and cheese
