Chateau Joly Saint Emilion (Bordeaux, France)
This beautiful Bordeaux wine is made from 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The Merlot grape gives a lot of softness and fruitiness to this Saint Emilion, the Cabernet Sauvignon gives it some depth and firmness. This Chateau Joly Saint Emilion is perfectly balanced, which is also partly because all grapes are harvested by hand. The old vineyard has 35 year old ranks that produce concentrated grapes. After the harvest, this Saint Emilion matures in oak barrels.
Beautiful ruby red in colour. In the bouquet are fruity and spicy aromas. On the palate a soft taste with a powerful and full body, followed by a long finish.
