La Villette SGM (Syrah, Grenache & Mourvedre) 12 Btl

This Mediterranean blend consists of Grenache and Syrah, complemented with Mourvèdre grapes. The Grenache and Syrah grapes come from the sheltered vineyards located between the Pyrenees and the Cevennes, and the Mourvèdre grapes come from vineyards located in the cooler climate on the Mediterranean coast. The three grapes last a long time in French and American oak barrels. Only a small part of the Mourvèdre grapes rest on the skin to obtain extra fruityness. After the fermentation, the wine ages another 6 months separately, after which the perfect blend is made and the wine ages for a few months on light oak.
The bouquet as intense aromas of black currants and red fruit with warm hints of flowers and spices. On the palate it is a rich, full fruity wine with black fruit and licorice aromas accompanied by velvety soft tannins.
