The Loire, with its length of 1012 km, is the longest river in France. The river originates in the Ardèche at an altitude of 1400 m. The grapes for this 100% Sauvignon come from 15 year old vines that grow on a clay and calcareous soil.
A beautiful straw yellow colour with silver reflections. The bouquet shows grapefruit, black currant and tomato plant leaves. On the palate a smooth crispy spicy taste. A delicious finish with black currant and lemon peel.
This wine can best be served at a temperature between 10°C and 12°C. Delicious in everyday dishes like chicken, vegetable quiche, curry and asparagus dishes. This wine is also perfect with luxury dishes like oysters, grilled lobster and prawns.
