Surprising notes of red fruit, strawberry, blueberry and plum. Floral aromas of violets along with hints of chocolate and hazelnut.
The palate is broad and tasty, with a sweet and ripe tannin that respects and enhances the wine and helps to appreciate all the minerality that this old vineyard contains. It leaves a persistent and pleasant memory in the mouth.
Pre-fermentative cold maceration and, eventually, softly pressed by foot for 22 days.
Aging: Malolactic Fermentation in oak with a 17 month aging in French oak.
