One of our best wines in stock: Vina Escondida 2015
94 Parker Points and chosen by Michel Bettane as the Best Spanish wine in 2016
This 100% Garnacha is elaborated with 85 years old vines in granite soil through organic viticulture.
Elaboration: Cold pre-fermentation maceration, traditional treading during fermentation. The press was made in a symbolic way, pressed very lightly.
Ageing: The wine was immediately moved to the cask using a new foudre of 2,000 litres of French oak for 15 months. Malolactic fermentation in the foudre.
14.5% Vol. PH 3.40 Total acidity 6.2
Tasting notes: Bright and vivacious ruby red colour. On the nose shows enormous complexity, aromas of cherries, violets, gunpowder, smoked, plums, incense, raspberry, blackberry and well-assembled woods together with mineral flashes…The palate shows silky and very fresh, easy to drink, with a polished and friendly tannin. Intense and explosive memory at the same time as subtle and elegant. Long, velvety and full of freshness.
