Deep cherry red, with specks of blue and violet tones. The rich colour is attractive and bright. On the nose, the dark fruity aromas of blueberry and blackberry dominate. Supported by notes of licorice and even light balsamic from well integrated wood.
On the palate shows subtle tannins that provide a structured mouthfeel, perfectly balanced with fresh acidity. Followed by a slight bitterness that adds length and character. The finish is fleshy and persistent.
