The domain consist of 5,5 hectares, located in Bossugnan in the department of Gironde where Madame Cioci makes soft and friendly Bordeaux wines here of a higher level than average (therefore the addition ‘superiore’), dominated by Merlot and complemented with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
This wine has a beautiful, dark, ruby red colour and a pleasant nose with influences of ripe black fruit and toast. The wine is subtle and fruity in taste, round and juicy in the beginning with tones of cassis and berries. The finish has a nice length, is well-structured and the vanilla shows a short ripening on oak barrels.
Excellent as aperitif, but also delicious in combination with red meat, gourmet dishes and hard cheeses.
